Clare Maguire (23 anni), è una cantautrice irlandese nata a Solihull, in Inghilterra. All’attivo dal 2008, la sua musica varia tra i generi alternative pop ed elettropop. Light After Dark è il suo album di debutto (di 15 tracce) pubblicato alla fine di Febbraio, di cui è stato estratto un primo singolo, dal titolo Ain’t Nobody, e successivamente The Last Dance come secondo. The Shield and the Sword è il terzo singolo che uscirà nei negozi inglesi il 9 Maggio 2011.
